Brookings-Harbor High School to nominate a Student of the Month.
The students and their parents are invited to join the club for lunch, and to make a short presentation about their achievements and their goals. Their names appear on a plaque in the front hall of the high school.
By tradition, at least one of the students during the year receives one of the club's college scholarships in the spring. Applications are made through the Brookings-Harbor Scholarship Foundation review process.
In the 2008-09 school year, the Rotary Students of the Month have been:
September: Taylor Keys
October: Breanne Manley
November: Kenton Bansemer
January: Jasmine Spurgeon
February: Molly Moncrief
