Welcome to the Wichita Branch NAACP, serving the Wichita MSA, Derby, Winfield, and Cowley & Sumner Counties. Originally chartered in 1919, the Wichita Branch NAACP is amongst the oldest civic organizations serving the Wichita Community. Our Local Mission is to serve as a catayst for equality and fair treatment for racial and ethnic minorities in the Wichita metropolitan area through advocacy, Political action, Community Organization, and Collaborative Decision making...

Since its founding the Wichita Branch NAACP has been at the forefront of the community's push for social justice & equal opportunity. We are honored to continue the work of this historic organization by leading community efforts such as:

Executive Committee meetings are held on the first tuesday of each month, at 6pm in the Wichita Branch NAACP Offices.

General Membership meeting are held on the second tuesday of each month, at 6pm at the William T Atwater Center; 18th and Volutsia

The General Membership meetings are free and open to the public
