Prerequisite: Accounting 1 with an 85 or higher and taking Geometry concurrently or have taken

Accounting 2H is an honors course that provides a culmination for the advanced business student and aids students who wish to further study accounting after high school.

In this course students will work independently to further develop expertise in the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements and reports for the various forms of business organizations. Students will study general journal and special journal techniques in working papers and in an automated accounting program.  Students will continue their accounting education acquiring skills in accruals, prepaid expenses and cost accounting.
