Accounting 2A is is designed for sophomore through senior students. Enrollment in Accounting 2A is predicated on student’s prior knowledge in Accounting 1. Accounting 2A is an advanced course that provides a culmination for the advanced business student and aids students who wish to further study accounting after high school.

In this course students develop an expertise in the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements and reports for the various forms of business organizations. The recognition and making of adjustments are an integral part of the course. Students learn to maintain payroll records. In addition, they are introduced to computerized accounting procedures including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
