I have been the PI or co-PI for research and educational projects totaling approximately 7.5 million dollars in funding.  These projects range from small internal projects from Whitman College to externally competitive funded projects while at Whitman to multimillion-dollar projects with the Department of Energy.

Principal Investigator. Support for Innovation in Teaching and Learning Initiative Grant. 2007-2008. Redesigning CHEM361 and Creating CHEM420.  Preparation of an Ebook on inductively coupled plasma - mass spectroscopy.

Principal Investigator. Abshire Grant. 2007.  Development of figures and illustrations for a layperson's book on environmental chemistry issues.

Principal Investigator.   Perry Grant. 2007.  Development of Laboratory Exercises and an Internet Textbook on Mass Spectroscopy.

Principle Investigator.   Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation.  2007-2008. Funding was used to purchase an ICP-MS system.
