Announcements:


Attention Seniors: Wednesday, May 24th is the last day to turn in permission slips for the Senior Trip. Bring yours to Mr. Knowles before the end of the day on the 24th so you can spend the day with your classmates in Seaside.


Students interested in joining FBLA for next year, please come to our meeting Thursday, May 24 during lunch in Mrs. Callow's room.


The last day for graduating seniors to submit to CHS office their scholarship award(s) from colleges, universities, employers and/or other organizations in order to be included in Scholarship Recognition night is Friday May 19th.

There will be a Global Action Club meeting at lunch in Mrs. Ell's room on  Friday May 26th.


Prom will be May 20th at Laurelbrook from 8-11:30pm. Tickets are being sold at lunch in A-Court Prices: Couples $45, Singles $25. Enchanted Forest is the theme and will be a wonderful evening.


Football meeting on Tuesday, May 30 at 3:30 pm in the CHS Boys Locker Room. There will be information given out which will include; summer schedule, team camp paperwork and other football relevant information for the fall of 2017. All current 8th-11th grade students are invited to attend.


WKO in Carson, Washington has a summer job opening for college bound seniors. More details are posted in the office.

Are you in need of community service hours?  Any student wanting to earn community service hours helping at the home track meet please come to the office and sign up with Nina.  The track meet is Thursday, May 4th starts at 4:00pm. This is a great opportunity to help your school, get community service and enjoy cheering on your fellow bruins.

Congratulations to our FBLA State winners:

Rosalyn Slater placed 1st in Accounting 1, and Uriel Ramos placed 2nd in Accounting 2. They both qualify for competing at the National Leadership Conference.

The new Traffic Safety class will begin on Monday, May 15th. Students who apply must be able to get a valid permit prior to the first class. Students will be selected from oldest to youngest. Only 23 students will be accepted in the class. Sign-up will end April 27, 2017 at 3:30 pm. The $375 payment will be due after you are accepted into the class.
