Located in historic Lampasas, Markward Manor is a Victorian limestone home built by German immigrant, John Markward from 1875-1880.  Guests may stay in either a suite or a double room in the guest house.  Both rooms have a private bath, come with a great breakfast, and have wonderful views of the surrounding countryside during the day and the stars at night.

There is plenty to do in the area, including tours of local wineries, special festivals, antiques shops, and more.  Colorado Bend State Park is a short drive away for hikers and others who want to enjoy the great outdoors.  Or, if you prefer, you can sit on the porch and watch for birds.  Either way, we know you will enjoy your stay at the Manor.
