In 1995. I graduated from North Georgia College and State University with a M.Ed. in middle grades education. In addition I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with an Ed.S. in school leadership.

Experience

After working six years in higher education at Reinhardt College and Truett-McConnell College, I entered public school teaching in 1994.  I have taught fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.  I have taught every subject, but by far my favorite is social studies. I am certified for middle school social studies and high school history.  Along the way I have coached softball, football, baseball, and wrestling. Without question Georgia studies has been my career and hobby.
