Hello and welcome to WCHS!  My name is Michele Broadwell and I'm a native of White County.  I was born here, attended school here, and now I work here.  I'm married and have a little girl attending school in the system.

I have an undergraduate degree from University of North Georgia in Special Education and a master's in Interrelated Special Education.  I received my six year/specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University in the area of Administration and Leadership.

I've been teaching since 1995.  My first teaching job was at Lumpkin County High School, where I taught for 12 years.  I've been back home teaching at White County High School since 2007.

I am the CTI (Career Technology Instructor) instructor at WCHS and the Lead Sped Teacher. I also work with the students with 504 plans and in the RTI process.  I love the CTAE department and am honored to serve as their lead teacher.  I'm passionate about my work and love being back home.
