Ms. Johna Oliver
4th Grade Teacher
Hi and Welcome to 4th Grade!
I love teaching and I especially love teaching the children at our school. 4th grade is a great year for students and I am very lucky to have been given the opportunity to teach these growing minds! I have two children and I enjoy fishing, kayaking, traveling, riding in my convertible, bicycle riding, and the ATLANTA FALCONS... RISE UP!
This is my 13th year teaching in the White County School System. I have taught at White County Intermediate School, currently renamed Tesnatee Gap Elementary School for 13 years, and my 15th year teaching. Previously, I was the Transportation Training Coordinator for Habersham County Schools and I have also been the site coordinator for White County Intermediates Schools 21st Century After-school Program. In addition to my teaching position, I am the White County Schools 21st Century Community Learning Center Enrichment Coordinator & Parent Liaison for all four sites: Jack P. Nix Primary, Mossy Creek Elementary School, Mt. Yonah Elementary School, and Tesnatee Gap Elementary School.
Degrees & Certifications:
I graduated from Piedmont College in 2006 with a bachelor degree in Middle Grades Education. Later, I attended Pioneer Resa and earned my gifted endorsement. Most recently, I graduated from Walden University with a Master's of Science degree in Educational Technology.
