I began my college career at North Georgia College where I attended for two years before transferring to UGA. I have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology as well as a reading endorsement, preschool special education endorsement, and certification in early childhood education.
I first began working in the public school system in 1992. I began my career in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and later also worked as a special education coordinator, preschool special education teacher, and classroom teacher. As a classroom teacher, I taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I love working with young children and have been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with students in various grade levels.
I am the speech-language pathologist at Mossy Creek Elementary School. I am married to Terry Palmer and have two wonderful children. Jordan, my son, attends White County High School. Sydney, my daughter, is a ninth grader at White County Ninth Grade Academy. I have lived in Cleveland for 23 years. My family is actively involved at Chattahoochee Baptist Church.
