Bio:
The 2016-2017 school year will be my sixth full year teaching, and my second full year at White County High School. I currently teach Advanced Placement World History and College Prep World History. In addition to teach history, I am also the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at WCHS.

I was born in Miami, Florida and lived there for several years before my family move to Duluth, Georgia. I attended Northview High School, where I played basketball and soccer. After I graduated, I attended Piedmont College and played soccer for four years. I received my Bachelors of Arts in History and my Masters of Education in Secondary History from Piedmont College. After earning my Masters degree, I worked at Gainesville High School, teaching ESL and Social Studies. I also coached the JV boys soccer team and helped coach the Varsity boys soccer team. From Gainesville, I moved to Torreón, Mexico with my wife, Jennifer, to teach at a private school, Colegio Americano de Torreón (CAT). My wife and I got married in 2013 and we taught at CAT for two more years, totaling 3.

Outside of school, my wife and I have two dogs, a miniature poodle, Rooney (Man Utd.) and a chocolate lab, Theo. I enjoy watching movies, playing with our dogs, cooking, and of course watching and playing soccer. My wife and I are expecting our first child, a baby boy, in October of this year! We are very excited for him to become a future Warrior!

GO WARRIORS!
