Welcome to the 21st Century website!  
You will information about our program including individual school site information, our school calendar, which includes parent meeting and enrichment dates, links to learning, and information about our staff.  

Who are we? 
S.O.A.R. is currently being offered at all elementary schools in White County: Jack P. Nix Elementary, Mount Yonah Elementary, Mossy Creek Elementary, and Tesnatee Gap Elementary.

S.O.A.R. is an academic opportunity that provides students with additional instruction in Math, Reading and
Language Arts. Homework assistance is also available if needed. Each student enrolled in S.O.A.R has the opportunity to parti-
cipate in Enrichment Activities. Enrichment Activities include many local community services and business as well as many White County School System clubs, organizations and staff members. S.O.A.R. is provided at no charge to each student enrolled in the program. Each day the students are provided with a nutritious snack and transportation home at no charge. The program follows the school calendar and operates Monday thru Thursday, after school until 6:00 p.m. 

Summer School is also available at no charge. Students receive remedial instruction in Math, Reading and Language Arts. Breakfast, Lunch and a snack are provided every day for each student enrolled in summer school. Students also participate in Art classes as well as Computer Lab instruction. Transportation is provided in the morning to bring the students to Summer School session and to take them back home in the afternoon.
