Library Introduction

Our school Library is the "living room" of our campus where students and adults grow in community together, and are inspired by a creative atmosphere to remain lifelong learners. There are over 13,500 books and materials, a mini computer lab for reference and research, a growing Maker-space area, centers for hands on learning and social interaction, online subscription databases, and a selection of parent resources.

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade are provided with scheduled library visits each week. During this time, students will receive instructional time with our librarians to develop tools to become independent researchers, readers, learners, and creators. Students will also be introduced to a wide variety of literary genres, topics, authors, and illustrators. Middle School students have access to the library throughout the day in conjunction with their classes and the library electives.

Our librarians work collaboratively with our classroom teachers, as well as fellow enrichment staff to support students, enrich curriculum, and foster a love of learning while developing a wide variety of student skills.
