Sakai - Getting Started: This workshop provides an introduction to Sakai focusing on some of the most commonly used tools. Creating and managing sites, creating Announcements, and sharing files through the Resources tool will be covered.
Sakai - Tests & Quizzes: With Sakai you can create many types of tests, quizzes, and surveys. You can also develop a pool of questions for your tests to use over time. Come to this session to learn about these tools and their options. Prereq: Sakai - Getting Started.

Sakai - Customizing Your Site: In this session, we will cover topics such as creating HTML pages within the Resources area to customize your Navigation Menu as well as adding images to Navigation Menu, adding images to your site description and look at some options for customizing the Home area.
Sakai: Where's My Course?!: In this session faculty will see how to set up their classes for the Fall semester. Banner integration with Sakai is different from BlackBoard. Classes are not automatically created. Courses must be set up by the instructor; however, this allows for more customization of your class! Also, faculty will be shown where to find any of their information that was moved over from BlackBoard to Sakai.
Sakai: Where's My Stuff?!: If your Blackboard files have been moved to Sakai and you need access to your stuff, come to this session to learn how setup a new Sakai site with your Blackboard files.
Turnitin:
Plagiarism Detection with TurnItIn: TurnItIn is an Internet based plagiarism detection service. In this session, we will describe how faculty set up a course in TurnItIn so that students can directly submit papers in to the service and the process by which faculty may determine originality of the work submitted. . If you are new to TurnItIn or previously used the BlackBoard integration, this session is for you as TurnItIn is not currently integrated with Sakai and must be used as a standalone product.
Introduction to TurnItIn: Turnitin is an Internet-based plagiarism-detection service. We will focus on showing faculty how to set up their course in TurnItIn so that students can directly submit papers in to the TurnItIn service.
