Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I began my position in 2015 after completing my PhD in Statistics at The Ohio State University and my BS in Mathematics Education from Shawnee State University.

My research interests are in Bayesian modeling and computation, spatial-temporal statistics, and uncertainty quantification, with applications to epidemiology and the environmental and ecological sciences. Current work related to using spatio-temporal models to quantify the opioid epidemic in Ohio counties is supported by the National Institute On Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number R21DA045236.
