Individual Education Programs

Individualized Educational Programs or IEPs are the road maps that outline the services a student with special needs will receive. They indicate the educational goals for the students. Members of the IEP team collaboratively create and revise IEPs. This team includes, but is not limited to the student when appropriate, special education teacher(s), general education teacher(s), appropriate related service personnel (e.g. speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist), and a local education agency representative (LEA).

Networking/Advocacy Resources for Parents

This is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the empowerment of individudals with disabilities through education, advocacy, independent living services, coalition building. 

A statewide network of families who have children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities and those who work on their behalf.  The focus of our work is health care access, coverage and community supports and services for children and youth with disabilities and special health care needs. 

The mission of the North Shore People Network is to facilitate collaboration in our communities among parents, administrators, staff and citizens to continue to explore and implement options for children with differences in accomplishing that goal. It includes parents, teachers, and professionals partnering to ensure equitable opportunities for children of all abilities.
