It has been a great first 2 days of practice. I see a lot of potential and more importantly, a lot of excitement with our team. Let's keep it up and work hard over the next week leading up to our first race of the season next Thursday against Weston.
A few things to remember:
1.) Be prepared everyday to run. This means having the appropriate running clothes and shoes, have your snacks finished (healthy ones too!) and your water bottled filled.
2.) Remember all the running tips Coach Marck talked to you about. These will be posted on the website in the near future but remember PACE! PACE! PACE!
3.) Expect to give your best everyday. These workouts are hard and if you give your best, you will get better.
Our next practice is Thursday, when we will be running the confusing loops of our course. Bring your best and EARN your days off. I'll leave you with the following quote below. Strive to be your best!
