Lucky students from Years 3 to 5 were able to complement their current studies on Antarctica and Scott's expedition with an enlightning trip to the Forrester Gallery, North Otago Museum and Oamaru Library on Tuesday.

The photos at the Forrester Gallery of Scott's expedition are stunnning.  Students were able to appreciate and visualise what conditions and surroundings Scott and his team had experienced in Antarctica.

Students were able to see some interesting items from Scott's expedition at the North Otago Museum including a stuffed penguin which encouraged lots of interesting questions!!!

While at the Oamaru Library students were treated to a story about a penguin and were given a challenge to find books in different sections using the Dewey system.
