It is wonderful to be back at Weston School for 2013.

Last year was an incredible opportunity to study and engage in active lifelong learning! The most exciting element of my learning and development as an educator was being able to connect with all the changes that are happening, not just in education but in a global sense which allowed me to see, reflect on and imagine the 21st Century as a whole!

"How can you teach if you don't want to learn?"

I am looking forward to running workshop and information sessions for parents on what it means to be a 21st Century learner. Our challenges as teachers are your challenges as parents. Together we make up a community that wants 'dispositions' for our children that will prepare them for change and to be successful in their lives.

I hope that you will join me for our first parent workshop which will be on Wednesday 27th February @ 7.00 pm in the Learning Centre. Coffee and Tea provided:

What is 21st Century Learning? What are our challenges and why do we need to engage with them?

I can promise you that you will leave with some 'tools' that you can use to support your child's learning for today and tomorrow!
