Welcome to the Crisafulli Art Gallery

The Crisafulli art curriculum focuses on exposing the students to many different types of media and skills while integrating with their classroom curriculum.  Whenever possible artists and the art of other cultures is brought in to enhance what they are learning.

Throughout the term artwork is collected in a class portfolio.  As each child completes a project he or she is  asked to perform a self-assessment.  They fill out a checklist which includes the projects major requirements and add up how many of the requirements they fulfilled successfully.

Samples of each project can be seen on this website and throughout the school.  Artwork is on display in the Crisafulli entryway and the art hallway.

The mural was created by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at the end of the 2014/15 school year.  It was inspired by the art of Robert Wyland.

We started this school year learning more about Robert Wyland.  Each student then created a fish to be hung in the art room hallway.  We created our own ocean!
