The month of February was a busy time for the DMD class of 2016. We completed the class II competency for amalgam restorations and preparations, finished IDIT, started Blood and Lymphatics, and had our first sim class working on composite restorations.
We are also getting close to election time for new class officers, so make sure to vote on blackboard.

The beginning of the semester has been both exciting and challenging for many MSHS students. For those in their final home stretch, the tasks of long papers and trudging through their Special Projects seem daunting, but the realization of being in the last few months of the program is making everything worthwhile. The program welcomed five new students this semester: Shaykhah Albatain, Marillsa Ayers, Lana Clay, Crystle Guevarra, and Monical Hillary, and we are all excited to have them on board.
MSHS students will be very busy the next couple of months, taking on various service learning projects such as the Pomona Unified School District and the WesternU IPE Community Health Fair. Although the students will have packed schedules, the class representatives are also planning some fun bonding socials including a bowling night in March.
We are planning on having another bake sale next month, so please check out the flyer below for more information!
