CALLING ALL STUDENTS WHO LIKE TO SAVE MONEY!

First, and most importantly, the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is going to be one of your best friends when looking for financial assistance. This is a general, federal application that helps the government decide if you are eligible for their help! The FAFSA will be available on October 1st, 2021 for the 2022-2023 school year!

If the FAFSA seems overwhelming and complicated, feel free to check out Going Merry - they have a friendlier version that can be found here (it's called the "FAFSA Made Easier Form" and it's absolutely free!). This option is available starting October 12th.

THE PEACE SCHOLARSHIP

The application and essay may be submitted online or printed out and mailed to the address on the application. The deadline is January 24,2022.


BVA SCHOLARSHIP 21-22

The Beirut Veterans of America is pleased to provide an opportunity for any college or trade-school student to apply for a $1,000 scholarship. Below are the details on eligibility and an online form for applications.

The application process opens on Wednesday November 10 and all applications must be submitted by January 31, 2022. Scholarships will be awarded by May 1, 2022. You can find the application here:

LARRISON AND LANNING SCHOLARSHIPS

The Larrison scholarship is for current residents and graduating senior from any Grant, Howard or Miami County high School. Student’s family income must be low to moderate as defined by Federal Regulations. Minimum 3.0 GPA, participated in athletics during high school, involved in the community and employed during their high school career.

The Lanning Scholarship is for residents of Howard or Miami County, graduating from any Howard or Miami County High School. Class rank must be 87% or higher and the GPA must be between 2.7 and 3.5, and deserving of financial assistance.
