Future of Assisted Living Scholarship SeniorAdvisor.com: Future of Assisted Living Scholarship. Three $2,000 scholarships available to students enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. Each eligible student must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town? The Vivint Smart Home Scholarship Eligibility Requirements Scholarship award is not based on financial need. To be eligible for the scholarship contest, applicants must meet the following criteria: Must be a high school senior or college student Must be a legal U.S. resident and currently living in the United States Must be planning on or already enrolled in one of the eligible majors listed in the Scholarship Official Rules Must submit a video that meets the guidelines described on The Vivint Smart Home Scholarship webpage www.vivint.com/scholarship  
Indiana Award for Aspirations in Computing The Indiana Affiliate Award for Aspirations in Computing recognizes young women in Indiana at the high-school level for their computing-related achievements and interests. Winners and their teachers are recognized at an award event in Indianapolis in 2018. In addition, all applicants are considered for the National award. Winners receive, cash, gifts, plaques for themselves and their schools and scholarship offers from several Indiana universities. All that is required is a short essay about what possible aspirations they have for using computing in their future career. Online applications must be submitted between September 1st – November 6th. The Prudential Spirit of Community Award All students grades 9-12 are eligible to apply for the 2018 Prudential Spirit of Community Award. The top WHS student application will be sent on to the state level for judging. The state winner of this scholarship will become eligible to win an unrestricted award of 1,000.00 and an all expense paid trip to Washington DC for the special recognition event. The Prudential Spirit of Community Award was created by the National Association of Secondary School Principals to honor HS students for outstanding acts of community service.  http://spirit.prudential.com/  
William H. and Elizabeth Gray Danforth Scholars Program at Washington University. We seek candidates for the Danforth Scholars Program who have exhibited leadership in service, as well as academic excellence, and who will embrace the challenges of a rigorous academic curriculum. We are especially interested in students who exhibit qualities that embody the essence of the Danforths—maturity, strong moral character, selflessness, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to the community. NEXT GENERATION HOOSIER EDUCATORS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $7,500 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school or repay the corresponding, prorated amount of the scholarship. HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP The application will be available August 1 – October 25. To be eligible to apply for the Horatio Alger National Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria: Be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the United States; be progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2018 with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution) Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required) Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and Be a United States citizen scholars.horatioalger.org
