WELCOME!  I will post copies of materials used in class, the weekly schedule, announcements, and additional resources that you can access from home, so that through working as a team, we can help your child find success in my classroom. If at any time during the year you have questions concerning your child’s progress, please contact me.  I look forward to meeting you and working with you and your student throughout the coming year.

Written response expectations using R.A.C.E.
1. All sentences must begin with a capital letter and end with an appropriate punctuation mark.
2. Use the R.A.C.E. acronym for your responses.
        R - Restate or rephrase the question in your answer.
        A - Answer the question. 
        C - Cite evidence. (when available) 
        E - Explain/expand your answer, add clarification or examples when appropriate.

*The Washington Elementary School District will supply essential materials for a successful school year for students who cannot supply their own.
