Welcome to Mrs. Richards' page
I have worked at Cholla for 15 years, first as a Seventh and Eighth Grade Social Studies teacher and now as a Student Services Specialist.  If you have concerns about your student's behavior, academic progress or if you have questions about anything related to your student's middle school years, I can assist you with getting answers.  My primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: scheduling of students, counseling and mediation of student issues, discipline, referrals for additional services/assistance, and general supervision of students.

I attended school at the University of Arizona and earned a B.A. in Anthropology.  Later I attended the University of Phoenix earning my teaching certificate and my M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction.  I recently earned my Principal Certificate from Northern Arizona University.  I have a wonderful husband and a daughter that also attends a school in the Washington Elementary School District.  I look forward to working with Cholla students, their families and the community in the coming year!
