What We've Been Working On:

3rd Grade Advanced Math:
In 3rd Grade Advanced Math we have been working on learning our Multiplication facts with fluency and accuracy! Students should be studying their facts every night.
Students should also be going on 10 Marks and completing sessions, this helps review past concepts, and allows them time to explore the upcoming concepts in third grade.
Other Skills We've Been Learning:
- Multiplication and Division Fact Families
- Multi Step Word Problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Area and Perimeter of Regular and Composite Shapes
- Classifying Quadrilaterals and Triangles
- Time to the nearest minute and elapsed time
- Mass and Liquid Volume

4th Grade:
Students have been working on multiplication with two and three digit factors. They have been practicing using various strategies to represent their thinking. Students have also been working on creating their own word problems for given equations.

2nd Grade:
Students in math intervenion have been working with number patterns and multiple towers. Students are learning their multiplication facts using interactive notebooks, engaging games, and various computer programs. Please make sure to be reviewing multiplication facts at home.

Welcome Back! 

I am looking forward to an exciting year together! 

Things to Remember:

1) Meet the Teacher is Thursday, August 5th! New families arrive at 5:00pm and returning families at 5:30pm.

2) Early Release EVERY WEDNESDAY @ 1:45pm.

3) Blue spiral math homework packets are due EVERY FRIDAY.
