Windsor Family Literacy Night 2016 is scheduled for Thursday, January 28th!

Special Guests:
Alexandra H. MacVean
a three-time Barnes & Noble Artist of the Month, and the host of a national/international online art co-op, Sunday Sketches.  Her artwork and illustrated children’s books can be found at various local coffee shops and bookstores in the area, including Barnes & Noble and the Wolverine Publishing Bookstore at Bean Cycle Roasters.
Suzzette Youngs: 
an associate professor of literacy education at the University of Northern Colorado where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in children’s literature, reading and writing methods and teacher research. She is the co-author of several Heinemann titles including: Writing Without Boundaries: What’s Possible When Students Combine Genres with Diane Barone, Around the Reading Workshop in 180 Days and More Advanced Lessons in Comprehension with Frank Serafini. She has also published articles in Reading Teacher, Language Arts, JOLLE, and The Journal of Children’s Literature. 
Her passion for children’s literature and helping teachers implement reading and writing digital workshops in their classrooms is driven by her more than15 years of classroom experience and her extensive work with elementary and middle school teachers in Colorado and across the country.
