Watch List

Students are included on the watch list when they have at least one recommendation and one test measurement that meets the criteria. A permission to test form is then sent to parents.

Talent Pool

 

The student is placed in the Talent pool when the student has been evaluated for identification, but does not meet the complete criteria listed. This student is then monitored for academic progress, may be offered enrichment opportunities and re-evaluated for 2 years following initial ID process.

 

If after 2 years of re-evaluation the student still does not qualify for identification and inclusion in the Challenge Gifted/Talented program they may be dropped from the talent pool.
