As required by Act 46, the five towns within the Washington Central Supervisory Union (WCSU) (Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Worcester, and Middlesex) have created a study committee with representatives from each town to carry out this investigation.  The committee's charge is a broad one but our goal is to achieve high quality education for all our children across WCSU at sustainable costs.

The study committee will make recommendations regarding school governance, which will then be voted on by all citizens in our five towns.

At the June 22nd Full Board meeting, the following memo fulfilled that request:      2016 June Report to WCSU Board

Next Meeting:  Wednesday, February 15th at U-32 from 6-8:30pm in Room 128/131
