The After School Program (ASP) at WES serves children from the Woodstock Elementary School and Prosper Valley School. We provide childcare for children in grades K-6. The program runs from 2:50-5:30 everyday school is in session.

The goal of the ASP it to provide a safe, happy, warm environment where the children can enjoy a healthy snack and have both structured and free-play time in and outdoors. The rules and tone of the program are consistent with the WES classroom and follow the principles of the Responsible Classroom. The Program Director and all program employees are provided with the book, “The Power of Our Word” written to guide language appropriate for school aged children.

The program meets in the classroom off of the cafeteria. We will occasionally go offsite for walks to the town library, Vail field or Mt. Peg. We use bus transportation to participate in ArtisTree’s “Fun Fridays”.

The cost for the ASP is $17.00 per day. Payment is due the last Friday of the previous month for the following month that is due. There is a late fee of $1.00 per minute after 5:30 PM. Checks will be made payable to: WES.
