Welcome to 3rd grade and our classroom webpage! I am excited to be working with you this year. This website will be used as a web portal for students, a communication tool for parents, and a learning enhancement tool for both in and outside of the classroom. Meet Mrs. Combs!

This will be my 5th year teaching 3rd grade at Eugene Field. I have LOVED teaching 3rd grade, and I could not imagine a better place for me to be! During January of the 2013-2014 school year, my classroom had the privilege to become a 1:1 iPad classroom. I welcome the opportunity to be able to use technology integration to enhance my student's learning and help them become more successful! Through this site, social media, and newsletters I look forward to sharing some of the things we do in our classroom with you!

My husband (Ryan) and I currently live in Webb City, MO. We have been married for 4 years and have been blessed greatly during our time together. We enjoy spending time with our son (Kason), our niece, nephew, and other family. We have 3 fur-babies. Our 2 sweet dogs, Raj and Barney, and our grumpy cat, Murphy, keep us very busy! During my free time you can find me reading recommended novels, crafting for our home, shopping, "golfing" at the driving range, or watching movies.

I graduated from Missouri Southern State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and from William Woods University for a Master's Degree in Teaching and Technology. I have attended many technology conferences such as SDE: Extraordinary Educators, Alan November Innovation Academy, Greenbush Google Gathering, and I recently received my Google Educator Certification, and training in Adaptive Schools. As I move forward in my career I plan to pursue many additional avenues to help me become a more knowledgeable educator.
