What is CS First?
Google CS First is a program that encourages young people to explore computer science. It is a module-based program that teachers children how to write computer programming scripts using Scratch. Scratch is a programming language developed at MIT to make it easy to create simple interactive games, stories, and animations. Google offers several different themes for their CS First clubs. This year, students may choose from these themes: Animation, Art, Game Design, and Storytelling.
Salem's CS First Club is open to all students regardless of ability with computers. To see what we can do, please visit our Scratch Showcase.
