What's Happening...

NTHS has awarded over $2 million in scholarships to date!

It is our belief that CTE students must be supported and encouraged to seek higher education in today’s highly competitive global community. Aware of the increasing costs to attend post-secondary schools, NTHS is dedicated to providing scholarships to career and technical education students who choose a skilled trade as their career. In 2019, NTHS will award over a quarter of a million more dollars through exclusive scholarship opportunities. Go to https://nths.org/scholarships-2/ to find out more.

Several scholarships are tied with NTHS AND a specific CTSO memberships. For our school that would be:
  • DECA
  • FCCLA
  • HOSA
  • SkillsUSA
They all have different deadlines and requirements. Some are open to current Juniors.

I am so excited about the 2018-19 school year!  NTHS has 36 seniors members returning this year! Graduation seems like a long way off but it will be here so fast!!! Our club meetings focus on various aspects of leadership, how to get you ready for post-secondary education and sharing scholarship opportunities with you.

Be sure to login to your NTHS account and sign-up for the Jon Poteat Scholarship.

Named in honor and memory of our NTHS Co-Founder, the Jon H. Poteat Scholarship is reserved exclusively for current NTHS members who have not graduated. On May 15, 2019, NTHS will award 250 one-thousand dollar JHP Scholarships to eligible members. The online application is available from September 1 – May 1.

Applying is easy. There is no application, no essay and no letter of recommendation required. Eligible members should log in at www.nths.org and click the "NTHS Scholarships" tile. Applying is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
