Mr. Kinsey

Background about myself.

I am a North Carolinian who was raised in Nash County about an hour east of Wake county. I attended Southern Nash High School and graduated in 1988. I attended East Carolina University where I graduated with a BS degree in chemistry in 1992. I then pursued a graduate degree from the University of South Carolina where I obtained a MS in Chemistry in 1994.

I worked as a forensic chemist for the South Carolina Sate Law Enforcement Division (SLED) for almost 2 years and then I worked as a research chemist for Glaxo Wellcome and Icagen in the RTP area for over 16 years. In the spring of 2011 I enrolled into the MAT program at NC State where I obtained my MS in Education. I am fairly new to the teaching profession but I bring many years of experience in the field of science to the classroom.

I have been working as an assistant football coach for 4 years now with Cary High School and I am also the Imp Club President.
