Hello Conn Family! My name is Tamara Brewington-Williams and I am over the moon excited to teach your kiddos this year! With a degree in business administration, I started my career in education in 2009 as a high school economics teacher. Three military moves, one baby, four years as a stay-at-home mom, a one master's degree in education (and a partridge in a pear tree) and here I am! Wake county welcomed me back to teaching last year and this is my second year teaching elementary school.

Outside of teaching I absolutely LOVE dance arts. In fact, this former ballet, jazz, modern dancer just had the chance of a lifetime to meet Misty Copeland this past week at UNC! I also love learning about different cultures and traveling to "must see" places on my bucket list. I have the most amazing 7-year old son, Trey, who is quite the explorer himself. Together we like to travel, zip line, hike, and rock climb. We are both elated to spend our first year at Conn!
