The Spring 2018 Retreat will be held at The Edward L. Kelly Leadership Center (14715 Bristow Rd., Manassas, VA) on Thursday, May 10 from Noon-4pm and Friday, May 11 from 9am-3pm.

Upcoming Conferences:        
  • The National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics Annual Conference is in Washington, D.C. this year!  NCSM will be held April 23-25 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (801 Mt Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 20001).  Dr. Pedro A. Noguera, Distinguished Professor of Education at the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA, will be the Keynote Speaker.  The Keynote Session is titled "Equity and Deeper Learning in Mathematics."   • The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Annual Conference is also in Washington, D.C. this year!  NCTM will be held April 25-28 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (801 Mt Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 20001).  There will be an opening Keynote and a closing Keynote.  Dr. Christopher Emdin, Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology at Teachers College, Columbia University, will provide the opening Keynote titled "When Content Meets Context: Towards a Revolution in STEM Education."  Dr. Francis Su, Benediktsson-Karwa Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College and past president of the Mathematical Association of America, will provide the closing Keynote titled "Mathematics for Human Flourishing."
