Dyslexia Intervention Program

The dyslexia intervention program used during the 2016-2017 school year was Orton-Gillingham's Recipe for Reading.
The number of students during 2016-2017 school year who received dyslexia interventions: 22.
The total number of students identified with dyslexia during the 2016-2017 school year: 7.

During the 2017-2018 school year, White County Central School District used the evidence-based Barton Reading & Spelling System in small group intervention to address the deficit area of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.

During the 2017-2018 school year, 31 students attending White County Central School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.

During the 2017-2018 school year, 11 students attending White County Central School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
