January 28th, 2022 - Snowmobile trails in Washington County are currently CLOSED.

Reports from across the county and nearby surrounding areas indicate the snow cover is too thin in many spots to warrant opening the trails at this time.  We'll be addressing any areas needing attention to be ready to get things going with the next significant snow.

NOTE: There is utility equipment and work ongoing affecting the trail along Hwy K between I-41 and Hwy 175 in St. Lawrence - please use Extra CAUTION in this area.  See the map at right near the center.

Check back often as conditions may warrant change at any time.

The new Washington County Snowmobile Trail Map for 2021/22 is now available at the businesses that support our trails.  Stop in to get a copy and please thank them for their support!

NOTE: Trail 53 connecting Colgate to Menomonee Falls is CLOSED in Waukesha County between Town Line & North Lisbon roads pending the completion of an agreement with a new landowner.  See the map at right near the bottom.

See the newly improved The Travel Wisconsin - Snow Report for interactive county-by-county trail status and conditions.
