National Ag Day

On National Agriculture Day, our chapter hosts a Drive Your Tractor to School event. We begin the day by meeting at the school’s sports complex so all participating students can gather together. Once everyone has arrived, we drive the same route to the school as a group. During sixth hour, we hold a tractor parade that travels to the elementary school. While there, we provide students with a short lesson on farm safety before finishing the parade by driving past the local nursing home.
