ASSIGNMENT 7

Drawing Lines
  1. Open your first map with the name:  [Lastname] [Firstname] Tour, for example: Smith Jane Tour
  2. Use a line to draw your path you traveled from home to school today.
  3. Hint:  You may rewatch the line video if you want.
  4. Click on the "Draw a line" symbol.
  5. Click on your home, on the part of the home with your bed.
  6. Click on school, on the classroom where you are right now.  (Note:  Sometimes double-click is needed to end a line.)
  7. Move the middle dot on the line so it is on your route.  Two new dots will appear.
  8. Move the new dots so they are also on your path.
  9. Repeat this until your exact route to school is plotted.
  10. Take a screen shot.
  11. Paste the screenshot into your shared Document.
  12. Raise your hand.  Show all of the new places to your teacher.

More Places I've Been
  1. Open your "[last name] [first name]Tour" map.
  2. Mark ten more places you have been, especially if they are in other countries, or other states.
  3. Include a NOTE or DESCRIPTION on each location.  For example, when and why were you there?
