Greeting Card

Mission:  Create an interactive holiday or greeting card that you can share with family or friends.

Directions:
  1. Right-click and "Open in a New Tab" Scratch Holiday Card Tutorial.
  2. Allow "Adobe Flash"
  3. Create a Scratch account.
    1. Note: Does not work on iPad due to Adobe Flash.
    2. Technical Notes:  Must add ?tip_bar=hoc after opening project like this:

  7. Delete the Cat - watch the video
  8. Add sprites - watch the video
  9. Make the sprites interactive - watch the video
  10. Move  - watch the video - use dance code
  11. Say Something - watch the video - use at least 2 "say" blocks
  12. Make a sound - watch the video
  13. Change color - watch the video - add color change to dancing sprite
  14. Change costume - watch the video
  15. Add Background Image - watch the video

  17. Set up the project -  watch the video
  18. Share your project - watch the video
  19. Add your project to the Hour of Code Studio - watch the video
  20. Complete the Certificate of Completion and Survey
  21. Copy the link to your project and email it to your teacher.
  22. Raise your hand!  Ask your teacher to check your project!
