Mission: Learn to use electronic calendar.
Do This First! 
- Open your class schedule for the school year. Look for start and end dates of classes / trimesters.
- Find the bell schedule for your school for the start and end times of classes.
Part I - Create a calendar with your First, Second and Third hour classes.
Part II - Complete the calendar with ALL your classes for this school year. - Go to calendar.google.com.
- Insert events for all of your classes for the entire school year.
- Start from the first day of the school year.
- Make sure the times are the exact times for your classes (see above).
- Open your Schedule in Campus Portal (see above).
- Extend each event to be every weekday, until the end of the marking period (for example, June 13, 2017).
- Hints: #1 Events must start & end on same day. #2 Change the FIRST event in the series.
- Paste the URL for your calendar into this Campus Portal account.
- Raise your hand. Show your teacher what you have completed.
Part III - Add More Events - Open Chrome.
- Sign in to your Google account.
- Follow along with this video to create your calendar: "Google Calendar Tutorial 102".
- Play from DropBox.
- Or, play it here from Google Drive.
- Or, go to My Computer -> Classes -> Wissner -> Handout -> tutorials
- Add any other recurring events such as sports, clubs, church, etc.
- Birthdays - put in birthdays for yourself, your friends, and your family
- Holidays - add in holidays that you celebrate
- Fill in what you did last weekend; Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Join this calendar.
- Raise your hand. Show your teacher what you have completed.
