TeamFive Teachers
Many educators work with TeamFive. Some of those educators are shown below. All TeamFive educators are welcome to add their picture and introduction to this page.

Ms. Candini
Hi, I’m Ms. Candini and I’m so happy to be teaching this awesome group of students! I grew up in Milford, MA and have had it in my heart that I wanted to be teacher since I was a little girl. I went to Providence College and moved to San Diego, CA after graduation to start my teacher career. After teaching for 2 years in San Diego, I moved back to the Boston area and have taught both 4th and 5th grade. This is my 10th year of teaching! I feel very lucky to be a part of the Happy Hollow community.  I am getting married at the end of this school year to my fiancé, Brendan!

Ms. Mattson

 Ms. Devlin
Hi, I'm Ms. Devlin. This is my 30th year teaching in the Wayland Public Schools. I taught first, fourth, and fifth grades at Loker School and Happy Hollow School.
I'm a graduate of Holy Cross College and Boston University. I am also a mom with three
so
ns, Ryan, Matt, and Sean. Ryan graduated from Wayl
and High School in 2009. After that he studied at Cornell University and now w
orks
 in the
 plant s
cience field. Matt graduated from Wayland High in 2013 and studies at Union College. Sean is currently a sophomore at Wayland High School. I'm married to my best friend, Mike, and we enjoy many wonderful times together with family and friends. I'm happy to be able to teach young children every day. My students inspire me.

Ms. Lataille

Hi! I’m Ms. Lataille & I’m so happy to be working in fifth grade again this year. This is my 25th year of teaching, my 18th in Wayland – first at Loker and now at Happy Hollow. I moved to Massachusetts in 1997. I grew up in East Hartford, CT, went to the University of Hartford for both my undergraduate and Master’s degrees and taught in South Windsor, CT. When I was first living in MA, I had the opportunity to go to Lesley University for my C.A.G.S., which was an amazing experience. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time in my yard, watching the birds and playing with my dog, Milo. I also love spending time doing ‘crafty’ things – projects around my house like painting and tiling aswell as sewing, paper-crafting and metal-smithing.

Ms. Ryder-Sharry
Hi. I am Mrs. Ryder Sharry (or Mrs. Sharry for short). I am excited to be working as part of the 5th grade team again this year. This is my 18th year working at Happy Hollow, and I also worked at Claypit Hill School one year. I grew up in Masachusetts and Rhode Island, and attended four different elementary schools due to moving. I went to the University of Maine at Farmington to become a teacher, and then earned my Master’s degree at The Ohio State Universiity. I am the mother of three children, who all went to Happy Hollow. Bridget, my oldest, lives and works in Elmira, NY. Molly (my middle child) lives and works in New York City; and Patrick (the youngest) is working on his Master’s degree at the University of South Carolina. I live in Wayland with my husband; and enjoy reading, home projects, the beach, and my children coming home. We also have a black lab named Sterling.

TeamFive is the fifth grade team at Happy Hollow School. The teachers work together to teach all students well. Each teacher teaches the specific subjects noted in the team symbol at the top of the page. All the teachers work together with specialists to coach students with Response to Intervention (RTI) Math/ELA, signature grade level projects, field studies, and special events.
