Welcome to our 1:1 collaboration site for the Wayland High School 1:1 learning initiative. This site will be used to share and communicate research, data, experiences and challenges around the implementation of 1:1 learning in our District.
Goals and Objectives
To put technology into the hands of our students consistently and ubiquitously
to provide and support a rigorous and stimulating academic environment that promotes acquiring knowledge and skills that will enable our students to grow into principled, informed, and capable citizens who
will help guide a democracy that follows humanitarian principles in the
global forum, and shape a just society where individuals may reach
their full potential.

First Year Goals:
Teachers will:
- Build an online presence through a web-site or our learning management system, its learning.
- Incorporate tools such as blogs and wikis into classroom exercises.
- Begin posting curriculum objectives, goals and material online.
Students will:
- Have access to class materials outside of the classroom and school building.
- Experience increased communication and collaboration with teachers and peers.
- Build Information Literacy Skills (how to locate, evaluate, assimilate , and credit sources)
