September 2017

Welcome to the New School Year!

Hello Parents and Students,

Welcome to the new school year of art making! During this gorgeous month of September in New England, some of our classes have been observing trees and plants outside our art room windows. Here you will see a class which took place outdoors. That's Ms Niles in the Happy Hollow garden with her students who are learning about the growth of plants. Ms Niles began the garden program several years ago and it's been a huge success. Students in art class, who are seated outside the garden gate, are observing shapes, lines and textures in the plants and in the trees beyond.

Lessons in science and the visual arts are all happening at the same time!

Please check back here throughout the year to read about our studies and to view the student gallery.
Have a great year!
