iPad Tips, Tricks and Great Apps

Here you will find iPad tips, troubleshooting and apps that might be beneficial to use in your classroom.

iPad Basic Slide Show Presentation
This presentation goes through all the basic tools of an iPad:  closing apps, making folders, guided access, adding websites to your home screen, saving images, etc.

These ten tips will save you a lot of headaches.  Read over them and discuss them with your team to figure out your team's expectations.

You can find simple trouble shooting tips here.  Remember a hard reset (hold down the home button and power button at the same time until the iPad resets) fixes many of the problems.

Here is a scavenger hunt we had our scholars complete at the beginning of the school year.  While many scholars are acquainted with the iPad, some are not.  This is a great way to get all the scholars familiar with them again.

These are the rules you want to go over and constantly remind your scholars about dealing with taking their iPads home.  It is important they know all these expectations.

You can find a list of apps that maybe beneficial for your classroom.  Feel free to browse and download any/all you see fit.  If you have any to add, please email me at kaestnere@wawm.k12.wi.us

Here are two links to different apps to support reading and creating books on iPads.  You can give your scholars choices in the apps to use or maybe you'll find a favorite.
