Financial Assistance

Scholarship amounts vary each year. They are provided through our community fundraiser "Reach the Peak" held in October at Nordic Mountain in Mt. Morris. The race is sponsored by Thrivent Financial and several other community businesses and is put on by area volunteers. The race consists of a 1 mile fun run for kids, a 1 mile family stroll, a 5K run/walk and a 15K run and brings in approximately 150-200 racers each year. All the proceeds go back to the A+ Program to provide financial assistance to families through scholarships and enrichment programming support! The RTP race fundraiser raises approximately $6,000 per year on average for the A+ Program! Check out ReachThePeakRace.com for race details and to find out how you can help! Helping with RTP or other fundraisers is one way parents can meet involvement requirements to be eligible for a scholarship.

Scholarships may be awarded second semester based on family need and meeting the pick-up, payment, and parent communication & involvement policies on the Parent Agreement (on the back of the application form). Scholarship funds are limited; the amount per student will depend on how many students and families meet the requirements stated above.

Scholarships are reserved for those with the most need, please only apply if you cannot afford the fees. Scholarship applications will be available in December for 2nd Semester and in February for 4th Quarter.

Parents/guardians must complete a financial assistance application and turn it into the A+ office.  Scholarship recipients will be notified approximately 4 weeks prior to the next payment is due.
