Academic Support - Adult includes helping with homework, planning and leading enrichment activities, general supervision and other misc. duties as assigned.

Enrichment Instructors - Adult coordinates academic and recreational enrichment programs for students for about .5 - 2 hours per day. The remaining time may be spent helping with general supervision and homework help. Approximate hours are 2.5 hours per day between the hours of 2:30 and 5:30pm M-F.  

Activity Coordinator - Adult coordinates interactive programming for students daily in the areas of math, lang. arts, science, youth development, arts, recreation, community service, technology, etc.  Also assists with homework help and general supervision when needed.  Activities are typically 1/2 - 1 hour long and vary each day typically following a theme for a 4-8 week period. Also helps the Enrichment Instructors and Academic Support staff to plan their enrichment programs. Approximate hours are 2.5 hours per day between the hours of 2:30 and 5:30pm.
 
Program Assistant - High School Student includes assisting with homework, planning and running enrichments, supervising outside/gym time, computer lab, activity center and other misc. duties as needed. 

Teacher Tutors - Adult Current WASD teachers or retired teachers preferred, work 1:1 or with small groups of students to re-teach school day lessons, record accurate attendance and skill improvement, communicate with student's current teachers, plan hands-on academic activities to help improve student understanding of the lessons/skills.

Volunteers & Substitutes - Adult or High School Students Do you enjoy volunteering or need volunteer hours? Are you unable to commit to a regular schedule but would like to help out once in a while?  We are looking to expand our substitute list so that we never have to work short handed and can continue to provide the necessary support and awesome activities for our students. As a sub or volunteer you could help in any of the jobs listed above!

Interested applicants should be responsible, reliable, great role models and enjoy working with students K-8 grade.  

Hours are typically Monday through Friday, Sept. 6th, 2017 - May 25th, 2018. 


Training will be provided from August 22-Sept. 1, 2017 and at regular intervals during the school year.
Additional time 1-2 days per week will be required for team weekly/bi-weekly meetings, planning and professional development.

Approximate work hours at each site: 

2:30 - 5:15 @ Redgranite (K-5)
2:45 - 5:30 @ Riverview (K-3)
3:00 - 5:30 @ Parkside (4-8)

Flexible scheduling may be available.  Additional hours are required for meetings, training, field trips!
