School Supply lists for 2017-18

Are you tired of looking for a yellow, plastic pocket folder with tabs for non-spiraled notebook paper that is 3 hole punched in August of each year?

As a district administrative team we recognized that our school supply lists were a difficult challenge to fill both financially and logistically. The district has completed the process of redeveloping a school supply list for Grades K-8 that fits entirely on one sheet of paper. Instead of 15 to 20 items on each grade level’s list, our parents and guardians will be expected to purchase between 4 and 8 items depending of the grade level starting in August 2017. The district will provide many of the instructional support supplies by purchasing them in bulk and reusing them when possible in subsequent years.

Will this cause my school fees to increase at the start of next year?

The answer is no. During the board meeting on May 8th, the Wauseon Board of Education approved the workbook and school supply fees at $25 for each student in Grades K-8 for the 2017-2018 school year.
