Yellow ticket Rewards!

Rewards and Yellow Tickets:

What is a Yellow Ticket?

When students at John Muir are caught following the rules that reflect school expectations, they will be given a yellow ticket.  Students are expected to print and sign their name on a yellow ticket and circle what positive item they were rewarded for. Tickets are held onto by the student until the student chooses how they would like to redeem them.

What happens after the ticket is turned in?

Yellow Slips can be redeemed daily at the school store for special items and for school supplies. Some special items and privileges such as a "head of the lunch line" pass or sit in teacher's chair are also available.   During each month, random drawings are held for prizes.
Prize winning names will be announced on the morning announcements or during a team activity.  Students will also be able to turn yellow tickets in to their homeroom teachers to participate in school spirit days or celebration days. The Excellence Campaign will set a goal for the number of tickets that each grade level needs to turn in for specific activities such as spirit days, dances, fun activities, listening to mp3 players in SOAR, extra recess, other available games.
